Return Policy
Workshop Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your workshop registration. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both you and our studio.
Cancellation by Participant
- More than 14 days before the workshop: Full refund minus a 10% processing fee, or you may transfer your registration to another workshop at no additional cost.
- 7-14 days before the workshop: 50% refund, or you may transfer your registration to another workshop for a 20% transfer fee.
- Less than 7 days before the workshop: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another workshop for a 30% transfer fee, subject to availability.
- No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund or transfer available.
Cancellation by Studio
If we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor illness, severe weather, or insufficient enrollment), you will receive:
- A full refund of your registration fee, or
- The option to transfer to another workshop at no additional cost
We will notify you as soon as possible if a cancellation becomes necessary.
Retreat Cancellations
For weekend retreats and extended programs:
- More than 30 days before the retreat: Full refund minus a 15% processing fee, or transfer to another retreat at no additional cost.
- 14-30 days before the retreat: 50% refund, or transfer to another retreat for a 25% transfer fee.
- Less than 14 days before the retreat: No refund, but transfer to another retreat may be available for a 40% transfer fee, subject to availability.
Ceramic Pieces
Due to the handmade nature of ceramic pieces created in our workshops:
- We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for pieces that crack, break, or don't turn out as expected during the firing process.
- This is part of the natural process of working with clay, and we embrace these imperfections as part of the learning experience.
- If a piece is damaged due to studio error (not related to the natural firing process), we will work with you to create a replacement piece during a future session.
Purchased Ceramic Pieces
For ceramic pieces purchased from our gallery:
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase if the piece is in its original condition.
- You must provide proof of purchase.
- Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item was damaged during shipping.
- Custom or commissioned pieces are not eligible for return unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for workshops and services:
- Are valid for one year from the date of purchase
- Are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation:

- Provide your registration details, including your name, email, and the workshop date
- Specify whether you would like a refund or transfer to another workshop
- We will process your request within 5-7 business days
Processing Times
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval. Processing fees, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund amount.
Special Circumstances
We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can arise. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending a workshop, please contact us to discuss your situation. We will work with you to find a fair solution.
